so lost in the moment,
musta been that fun,
all the pieces get scattered but you're just looking for one,
the sun soon rises and you feel that warmth,
not the warmth on your skin but the warmth from within,
and for some reason you wanna do it all again,
let the goodness flow in and around,
hear the sound of your spirit rejoicing right now,
back to that level where you sit in the clouds,
smile from heaven right in front of your eyes,
and that's not the alcohol talking,
she really be that fly,
eyes now staring up into the stars,
truly amazed this isn't a dream so far,
but so close to the moment you call home,
another step through the beautiful unknown...

loose memories of a night so vibrant with laughs and cheers,
bright lights flashing in the blanket of darkness,
but not dark as in fear,
dark as in the mystery of a future unknown,
exciting,
lying between dreams and reality,
rippling the reflection seen within your eyes,
new hopes,
new destinies,
new paths traveled once before in another lifetime,
revision of the lines set boundaries,
your passion sailing on the vastness of imagination,
reconfiguring self,
understanding those that matter are still there or have yet to be found,
the sound of your voice vibrates in the inner sanctions of my being,
seeing much more between you and I,
a stage shared with your soul,
sewn into the fabric of our music,
a lucid fusion of heart and heart,
hand in hand,
held feelings so sacred only you could have released,
at the right moment and as that moment continues,
caught in stop motion pictures framed,
that same smile I keep falling for,
that warmth I follow in all my travels,
the unraveled roads that lead to we,
for I am not I without you,
for you and I tie the loose memories creating those bursts of lights,
a sight that frequents those windows behind the shades,
eternally dreaming...
