first monday of the year.

alright so it's the first monday of the first week of the first month of the year. time to get back in gear. really start on those new years resolutions.
first day was spent mostly on recovery from the last day of partying.
second day was spent snowboarding at northstar, a really awesome time with some folks that i haven't ever boarded with or haven't boarded with since last season, definitely some good added memories.
third day was spent mostly doing errands in preparation for my parents coming home from virginia after the 9 days of prayer for my grandma eureka, God bless her and welcome her home,
along with some painting at my sister's new home. the painting is coming along slowly and surely, can't wait to see the final product, i'll probably post some pictures of the end result. in terms of painting you can only plan for so much, then eventually you have to let serendipity do her thing. painting is definitely something i want to get back into on a regular basis, whether it's painting a wall, like at my sister's, painting a canvas, or painting a munny, so many techniques and ideas to explore.
and for career moves, definitely got to get back to studying, editing the resume, writing cover letters, filling up and sending applications, and basically just staying on top of that game.
some other moves are to rearrange my room and studio set up for both music and art, add some more equipment, and continue that creative flow.
2010 is going to be a great year.
